In one week I'll be picking up and heading down to North Carolina to stay with the Marines I stayed with last time. This time, my best friend and I are staying from Wednesday to Sunday and they're deploying shortly after we get back. It's going to be bittersweet; hopefully we're going to have a fantastic time but I'm going to be looking at them and know that they're going to be heading off.
It's also going to be a good break from a certain situation here. I need to clear my head for a few days and a bunch of rowdy, rambunctious marines is just the thing to do it (I hope).
I got an invitation to move later on this year. As of now, I'm down to go considering I currently have nothing keeping me here. It might be a nice change of pace considering I've lived in Jersey my whole life. We shall see what happens in that. I love the city too much (NYC that is) so actually being away from it, obviously my family and friends as well, would be quite difficult.
Not sure if I'll have time to write before I leave, but I will definitely update when I get back.
